By accessing or using our website at thetailorcv.com and the services we provide — including AI-powered resume optimization, ATS scoring, cover letter generation, interview preparation, and related features — you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
By creating an account, making a purchase, or using any part of our platform, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and accept these Terms in full. These Terms form a legally binding contract between you and TailorCV.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.
TailorCV offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected at checkout).

You agree to use TailorCV only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:
Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and, where applicable, legal action.
Our Content: All content on the TailorCV platform — including software, text, graphics, logos, AI-generated outputs presented as part of our UI, and design elements — is owned by or licensed to TailorCV and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our proprietary content without written permission.
Your Content: You retain ownership of all resume content, job descriptions, and other materials you upload to our platform ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant TailorCV a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process and display that content solely to provide the requested services to you.
AI-Generated Outputs: Resume suggestions, cover letters, and other AI-generated outputs are provided for your personal use. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content before use.
The TailorCV platform and all services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
TailorCV is a tool to help improve your job application materials. We cannot guarantee specific career outcomes. Final responsibility for all application content rests with the user.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TailorCV and its owners, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of employment opportunities, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use our services.
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amounts paid by you to TailorCV in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental/consequential damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TailorCV and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgements, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your User Content; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.
By You: You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at td19454@gmail.com or through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless you are entitled to a refund under our Refund Policy.
By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, to us, or to third parties, or for any other reason at our discretion.
Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, and governing law shall survive termination.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
For users in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU consumer protection laws.
Your use of TailorCV is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully to understand our data practices.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TailorCV regarding the use of our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter herein.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
