Refund Policy

At TailorCV, we want you to be fully satisfied with your subscription. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available, how to request them, and what to expect after a request is submitted. All purchases are processed through Paddle, our merchant of record and authorised payment processor.

01 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

All new paid subscriptions are eligible for a full refund if requested within 7 days of the initial purchase date, no questions asked.

This guarantee applies to your first subscription purchase on TailorCV. If you are unhappy with the service for any reason within the first 7 days, contact us and we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.

The 7-day guarantee does not apply to:

02 Subscription Renewals

For recurring subscription renewals (monthly or annual), we generally do not offer refunds once a renewal charge has been processed, as access to the service continues for the full paid period.

However, if you believe a renewal was charged in error (e.g., you cancelled before the renewal date and were still charged), please contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will investigate and resolve the matter promptly, which may include a refund.

How to avoid unwanted renewals: You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.

05 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at td19454@gmail.com with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Account Email]".
  2. Include your registered account email address, the date of purchase, and the reason for your refund request (optional but helpful).
  3. We will review your request and respond within 3 business days.
  4. If approved, the refund will be initiated via Paddle back to your original payment method.

06 Refund Processing Timeline

Once a refund is approved and initiated:

Refunds are always returned to the original payment method used at checkout. We cannot transfer refunds to a different card or payment method.

07 Cancellations vs. Refunds

Cancelling your subscription and requesting a refund are two separate actions:

To cancel your subscription, go to your account dashboard or contact us at td19454@gmail.com.

08 Disputes & Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We respond quickly to refund requests and prefer to resolve disputes amicably.

If a chargeback is initiated without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend access to your account pending resolution of the dispute, as required by our payment processor's policies.

09 Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, Australia, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer rights, those rights apply in addition to this policy.

EU consumers have the right to withdraw from a digital service contract within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason, unless the service has already been fully performed with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you lose your right of withdrawal once performance has commenced.
