Our Story

We didn't come from computer science. We met as Chemical Engineering students in the same department — two people who were never “supposed” to build software.

What brought us together was a conversation. Shubham refused to settle for an ordinary job and an ordinary life; he wanted to build something that mattered. Trisha, originating from one of the most crime ridden neighbourhoods fighting her way to one of the country's best colleges was charting her own path toward the SSC CGL exam. He was drawn to the way she saw life; she was drawn to his determination to do something big.

Then came the hardest chapter of our lives. Shubham faced acute financial and personal problems still he learnt coding at hospital wards and at public buses. Trisha believed in him through all bad times. Trisha also made a life changing decision: to make his dream hers and believe in him even when he had nothing. she didn't know how to code.

So she started from zero. Three months of data analytics — SQL and Power BI — then Python, then data structures and algorithms. Shubham had sketched the first version of the product. Trisha built it and transformed it from a project to a production software.

With financial and personal problems but unwilling to give up on the dream we now shared, we kept going. Trisha learned frontend, then FastAPI. Night after night — while still clearing our Chemical Engineering semesters — we rebuilt, tested, and refined until TailorCV finally worked.

We built this through love, loss, and a lot of stubborn hard work. That is exactly why theTailorCV exists: because we know what it feels like to be underestimated, to fight for an opportunity, and to refuse to be overlooked. We want every person who uses it to get the fair shot they deserve.
