Designed a systematic evidence synthesis to identify research gaps, benchmark institutional capacity, and produce policy-relevant outputs for HEC.
Executed structured literature reviews of 80+ peer-reviewed sources; applied ML-based text classification (Python) to map themes across climate vulnerability and governance literature.

Policy Memo: NbS Integration into KPK Climate Change Policy 2022

Authored a data-driven strategic policy memo for the KPK Climate Change Policy 2022, advocating for the integration of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) to enhance provincial disaster resilience.
Conducted systematic review of ecosystem-based adaptation literature; cross-referenced Paris Agreement Art. 7, UNFCCC COP decisions, and Pakistan's NDC against the provincial policy text; structured 5 normative recommendations aligned to SDG 13 and SDG 16.

Graduate Policy Development Project — NUSTIslamabad

Urban Water Stress Index (UWSI) Geospatial Climate Risk Assessment

Engineered a multi-temporal geospatial index using Google Earth Engine (GEE) to quantify urban water scarcity and hydrological risk across Lahore using Landsat and Sentinel datasets.
Produced visualization outputs and hotspot maps for non-technical stakeholders.
Index identified 4 high-risk zones in Lahore; methodology validated for replication across Pakistani cities.
